Nature of Trek : Easy Trek (Low Altitude)

Kedarnath is at an altitude of 3584 m. A magnificent temple was built by the Pandavas at the base of Kedarnath peak's southeastern face and millions of pilgrims now come here to offer their prayers to Lord Shiva.

The trek starts from Gaurikund, where there is a hot water Sulphur Spring. While approaching Kedarnath, we pass through stately forests and come across some beautiful waterfalls.Kedarnath to Vasukital is a continuous ascent, and a great trek. The view of Chaukhamba Peaks and Mandakini Valley is a wonderful from here. Vasukital Lake , about ½ kms in radius, with crystal clear waters will possible take you into an immediate trance.

DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI
Upon arrival at International Airport in Delhi ,You are met and transferred to your pre-booked hotel.Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 02: DELHI-RISHIKESH (230 KMS, 06 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh via Haridwar, enroute visiting Har- Ki -Pauri, holy Ghats etc in Haridwar. Upon arrival in Rishikesh check into your pre-booked hotel.Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 03: RISHIKESH-GAURIKUND(230 KMS, 09 HRS DRIVE)
Today we cover 230 kms to get the place called Gaurikund.Guari kund is an Interesting Himalayan hamlet of narrow, rising streets and open-fronted shops and eating houses doing a brisk,breakfast business. Many of the pilgrims stop for a while and worship in the temple of Guari, one of the names of the consort of Lord Shiva, after whom the hamlet and at the start of the 15 kilometer trekking route, a milling mass of hourses, mules and their grooms awaits riders at a toll barrier. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 04: GAURIKUND-KEDARNATH (14 KMS TREK)
Today we trek upto 15 kms to Kedarnath carring packed lunch alonwith. Overnight at Kedarnath. Kedarnath is one of the most important Indian pilgrimage places. The temple, built in the 8th century and dedicated to the goddess Shiva, is magnificently surrounded with snow-capped peaks.Mountainscapes change at every bend :dark and frowing cliffs haunted by soaring eagles; snow peaks rising against the clear Himalayan skies; rang after range blueing into the distance. The nearer view are also heart –stopping: water falls tumble of the hillside, slicking rocks, covering them in rugs of greens herbs;wild verbena with posies of mauve flowers, spangle moss and turf;long-haired goats dot rocky meadows like evocative sets from the sound of the music. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 05: KEDARNATH-VASUKITAL-KEDARNATH (08 KMS TREK)
Today we go for trekking for about 08 kms to Vasukital carrying packed lunch alongwith. Later trek down to Kedarnath. Dinner and Overnight at Kedarnath.

DAY 06: KEDARNATH-GAURIKUND (14 KMS TREK)
After an early breakfast today trek of an about 15 kms carrying packed luch alongwith.Dinner and Overnight at Gaurikund.

DAY 07: GAURIKUND-RISHIKESH( 230 KMS, 09 HRS DRIVE)
After finishing with an early breakfast drive back to Rishikesh.Upon arrival,check into your pre-booked hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 08: RISHIKESH-DELHI (230 KMS, 07 HRS DRIVE)
After short sightseeing tour of Rishikesh,transfer to the Haridwar railway station to board train to Delhi.Upon arrival in Delhi ,check into your pre-booked hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 09 : DELHI-DEPARTURE
Morning sightseeing tour of Delhi , later departure transfer to the airport to board flight for your onwards journey.
