The Nanda Devi National Park has been closed since 1982 to protect its bio-diversity and only now parts of the park have been open to the interested tourist. None less than Sir Edmund Hilary has described the sanctuary in glowing terms as "the training ground for adventure in India ".

No description of this trek would do justice to the scenery that unfolds in front of your eyes. The snow-clad peaks like Mount Bithartoli-Himal (6354 m), Nanda Ghunti (6309 m), Ranthi Peak (6003 m), Dronagiri (7066 m) and of course India's highest peak Nanda Devi (7817 m) herself in Majesty. The trek also offers great views of the Auli bugyals, Urgam valley and Lata village and moving through forests of Rhododendron, Birch and Fir.

DAY 01 : ARRIVE DELHI
Upon arrival in Delhi. You are met and transferred to your pre-booked Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 02 : DELHI-RISIKESH
Today departure transfer to Railway station to board train to Haridwar.Upon arrival in Haridwar ,later transfer to Rishikesh.Upon arrival in Rishikesh,check into your pre-booked hotel.Evening free to explore to Ghats and Temples on the Bank of river Ganges . Also you can be a witness the famous Aarti of Ganges at Har-Ki-Paur in the evening. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 03: Haridwar - Joshimath (1890 M/ 6197 FT) 270 KM
After an early breakfast drive to Joshimath.Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 04: JOSHIMATH - Badrinath - JOSHIMATH
Finishing all legal formalities at Joshimath and visit Badrinath temple, worship at temple. Later come back to Joshimath. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 05: JOSHIMATH - LATA VILLAGE ( 2317 M / 7646 FT)
Morning drive towards Lata village for an hours to reach up road head. Then trek to the village upto 1.5 kms. Visit and worship at Nanda Devi temple and also experience the culture of this region. Overnight stay at village.

DAY 06: Lata Village - Lata Kharak (3689 M/ 12174 FT)
Today we go for trek of about 09 kms with steep incline. The going is arduous but very satisfying as the trail unfolds before ones eyes. Lata Kharak is a high plateau with high peaks surrounding it. It takes about 05-10 hrs to do this trek. Overnight in Camps.

DAY 07: LATA KHARAK - DHARANSI PASS (4250 M / 14025 FT)
Morning you find towering snow clad mountains around like Dronagiri,Nanda,Gunthi and many more.later we climb off little towards Jhandi Dhar and Bagfyana Pass.here onwards there are some narrow gorges to reach out Satkul to Dharansi Pass.Today we cover total 10 Kms trek.Overnight at Tents/camps.

DAY 08: Dharansi Pass - Debrugheta - DHARANSI PASS (4250 M / 14025 FT)
On today's trail the Malthuni - Bethratoli Ridge's of the inner and outer sanctuary form a magnificient pass upto Rani Kholi and Donidar. The trail is a steep descent of about a kilometer to Debrugheta. Come back to Dharansi Pass by late afternoon. Overnight at Camp.

DAY 09: DHARANSI PASS - HITOLI CAMP SITE (2900 M / 9570 FT)
Today We are to cover of about 12 kms trek. Climb off to Hitoli camp from Jhandi Dhar through thick forests of Rhododendron, Birch and Fir.Overningh at Tents/Camp.

DAY 10: HITOLI CAMPSITE - JOSHIMATH (1890 M/ 6197 FT)
Today we reach out to the Village of Tolma, basically a road head. It is about 30 kms drive to Joshimath. The Trek is through thick forests. Overnight at Joshimath.

DAY 11: Joshimath - RISHIKESH
After an early breakfast drive back to Rishikesh. Upon arrival in Rishikesh check into your pre-booked hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 12 RISHIKESH/DELHI
Today we go for short city tour of Rishikesh including Holy Ghats, and some worthseeing places of the town later departure transfer to the railway station to board train to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you are met and transferred to your pre-booked Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY13 : DELHI/DEPARTURE
Morning city tour of Delhi.Later departure transfer to International airport to board flight for onwards Journey.
